Jamey Sepulveda, CPA

Jamey joined Steven Bankler, CPA, Ltd., in 2022. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration in 2008 from the University of Texas at Austin. She obtained her CPA license in 2010. She began her career at EY – Chicago in their tax department before moving back to Texas, where she worked at Long Chilton (now CRI) as a tax accountant/auditor. Prior to joining the Bankler team, Jamey transitioned to private accounting, overseeing accounting and finance for two companies in the water treatment industry. Jamey’s specific areas of focus within the Bankler team include IRS special projects and litigation projects. Her main goal is to help clients solve problems by being their go-to when they have tax questions throughout the year, so that together they are prepared to proactively manage tax situations as needed. In her free time, Jamey enjoys exploring local and state parks, golfing, or baking with her incredible, 8-year-old daughter. Jamey also volunteers with the Interfaith Welcome Coalition, helping immigrants map their route home and providing them with available resources (food, water, clothing).
